Sores of aggrieved women on Monday took to the streets in Warri, Delta State in protests over worrisome power outage in Eyara layout.

Also, market women at the Ogbuwangwe Market disrupted flow of traffic on the NPA Expressway as bulldozers wrecked their makeshift shops.
The Eyara placard flying protesters from the Generator Area of the Warri suburb matched through McDemott Junction unto Warri-Sapele Road and terminating at Warri Area office of the Benin Electricity Distribution Company (BEDC), disrupting traffic.
Some of their placards read: “Rationing of light, estimated bills, but no light,” “We pay for NEPA bills, we do not use NEPA”, “We say no to bills without light” and “No light, no bill.”
