UPDATE:
According to the senior police officer in Abuja, as soon as Buhari was delivered to Abuja the police were asked to take him back to Kaduna. Already in Kaduna the suspect was released on bail as directed by Inspector General of Police in Kaduna.
As at the time of filing this report Buhari didn't respond to the calls of journalists.
BACKGROUND:
It has been gathered by Sahara Reporters that the arrest could be allegedly instructed by Vice President Namadi Sambo, who also hails from Kaduna.
In the course of the interrogation Buhari explained he had shared the photos in order to prove the enormity of the attacks and urge the government take immediate action to prevent further bloodshed.
Interestingly, the journalists from Thisday newspaper, where the suspect also works, revealed that Buhari's case had already been closed last week and that he had been discharged after having written the undertaking.
However,  according to the journalist, the case was politicized this week, and Vice President allegedly prevailed on Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Mohammed Abubakar to process Buhari’s arrest and transfer from Kaduna to Abuja.
He also lamented:
"Why would the Police not go after the killers but go after the one who is mourning. We are also surprised by how a case in Kaduna will be taken to Abuja; it confirms our suspicions that it is politicized and there is more than meets the eye."
