BOKO HARAM KILLINGS: This Is How PDP Is Handling The Situation In Abuja

photoPDP Project Reloaded, a volunteer initiative arm of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have gone spiritual over the incessant Boko haram killings in the North-eastern part of Nigeria.
The group which is committed to deepening democracy and developing the country organised a national prayer meeting on Tuesday in Abuja where members sought God’s intervention to end the Boko Haram insurgency.
The prayer session was held at the group’s secretariat at Maitama Distric, Abuja.
Members of the group who expressed worry over the alarming rate of attacks said the prayer was organised after the cruel attack on innocent children in a school in Yobe State where over 40 students were killed and about 20 others taken away by the terrorists.
Some prominent PDP members led in the series of prayers. Among those who prayed at the event were the former minister of aviation, Tunde Omotoba; current Nigerian ambassador to Ireland, Dr Bolere Ketebu Nwokeafor and the former minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Alhaji Abba Gana.
Others were Alhaji A.Y Gombe, Dan Musa and Ikem Obianyo.
Former Deputy Senate President and chairman of the group, Alhaji Ibrahim Mantu, who spoke during the prayer session said the group took the initiative to pray so that God could touch the hearts of the terrorists and make them know that they would give account of their actions one day, while also lamenting the fate of the 20 female students taken away by the insurgents
He therefore urged members of the Boko Haram sect to end the killings, repent and turn back to God.
