MY STORY: Female Porn Star Expresses Regret Over Her Career Choice (PHOTOS)

A mother-to-be who spent ten years working as a porn star has penned an open letter to her unborn son addressing her X-rated past.
Aurora Snow, 31, from California, details in the memo, posted on The Daily Beast, that she went into the adult entertainment industry to pay off her student debt and never thought about the long-term effect it would have on her family.
She continues: 'My hope is that you find this article before accidentally stumbling upon any pictures or videos that show your mom in a way she never intended for you to see.

'I’ve done just about everything imaginable in my adult career and if you dig deep enough you will find things you might think are pretty awful.
'I can honestly say that I approached adult filmmaking as a job, and, like any job I’ve ever had, I felt it important to do my best. Sometimes doing my job well meant doing pretty gross things. Hopefully you never see that stuff.'
Ms Snow says that she stumbled upon the world of pornography after answering an advert in a local newspaper titled: 'Girls Nude Modeling - $2,000 per day.'
That job soon led to someone asking her to have sex on camera for 'even more money' and she said 'yes'.
'That choice led me down the very eventful and colorful path of adult filmmaking,' she recalls.
Knowing 'for certain' she never wanted a family of her own, Ms Snow said she took on X-rated roles with no shame or guilt.

However, after her brother was involved in a motorcycle accident and broke his neck in 2009, she had a change of heart as she temporarily looked after his two children.
'My priorities shifted. I was no longer the girl willing to do anything, instead I became a woman with a goal. I wanted a family,' she writes.
Ready to settle down, a friend set her up with a 'warm, charming, and very family-oriented' Midwestern farm boy, who also happened to be involved in TV, and, the rest was history.
The two are expecting their first child together in mid-December.
Ms Snow says her partner, who she declines to name, was the one who finally gave her the 'motivation and courage’ to leave the porn industry.
'[He] recognized the cycle I was caught in and said, "Just push the eject button." It was advice I was finally ready to hear.'
She says that she hasn't taken on any roles since getting pregnant.
Speaking to the Huffington Post today, Ms Snow took a moment to reflect.
'If I'd of thought that I was ever going to get married or have a family of my own I may have made different choices in terms of the career that I was leading.
'But I just didn't see me as a person who was ever going have kids. So now I'm faced with having to one day explain that to my own kid . . . and that's going to be interesting.'
Despite these sentiments, Ms Snow says that she does not regret being a porn star.
'I think that I made the choices that were very appropriate to me at the time and all of those choice led me to where I'm at now. And I'm very happy with where I'm at now.'
In the open letter to her future son, she concludes: 'The choices we make can change our path forever in a way we might not understand at the time. I made choices that took me down a path that many people frown upon.
'When you're 18 it's so easy to see the future and know exactly what you do and don't want, but just 10 years later hindsight sneaks up.
'So remember when you’re making big choices in life, think far into the future and ask yourself, “can I live with that?”'
