Two sex workers have been sentenced to three months imprisonment by a Tinubu Magistrates’ Court in Lagos for loitering.
The convicts, Blessing Esu, 28, and Rita Ume, 36 were each charged for loitering and disorderly conduct.
The prosecutor, Sgt. Daniel Ighodalo, told the court that the two women committed the offences on March 1 at 2.30 a.m. on Victoria Island, Lagos.
They both pleaded guilty to the charges.
Presiding over the case, the Magistrate, Tokunbo Omoyele, sentenced them to 3 months imprisonment without an option of fine as they had admitted committing the offences.
