The Nigeria Wheelchair Basketball Federation through her President, Hon Olopade described him (Oche) as God-Sent to the revival of Wheelchair Basketball in Nigeria as his individual efforts and support has witnessed the birth of a privately sponsored International Basketball that the entire nation just witnessed, which the Federation thought wisely to name after this noble Nigeria with the love of the physically challenged at heart.

Mr. Olopade said that Hon. Victor Ochei never thought about it twice before accepting to take up the position of her Grand Patron and Major Supporter and Number 1 fan of the Nigeria Wheelchair Basketball and further backed it up with actions that gave birth to the First-of-its-kind Annual Wheelchair Basketball Tournament in Nigeria which he Single-handedly sponsored.
