NAIJ.COM NON-STANDARD ONLINE ADVERTISING

 

Naij.com is introducing new and unusually more effective forms of online advertising.
Apart from normal or standard web banners, Naij is including in its advertising portfolio non-standard banners or unique placements to engage users and communicate our clients’ brands and products more efficiently to their customers and potential customers.
Our clients usually have different objectives while communicating their advertising plans with us, such as; lead generation, brand awareness, brand reminding, brand-user interaction, follow-up ads, Facebook page promotion, and so on. 1. Web Page Branding: This type of advertising is very specific to the client’s brand, and can accommodate in all pages of the Naij website depending on the client’s choice. Most Web page branding are not clickable, but the Naij web page branding can be clicked from any angle and it directs the user to the client’s landing page. The effectiveness of this type of non-standard advertising is very high especially where the main aim is to achieve an image effect.

2. Screen Glide: The Screen Glide has a way of getting the attention of the user especially when he is distracted. It seems like a usual 240x600 size web banner, but expands to cover almost half of the web page when user’s cursor hovers around it.

3. Special Placement – Search Banner: The search banner special placement is very interactive and innovative. The Naij web search tool is customised and themed with client’s brand or product. The search text field will also include a question about the product, such that when the search button is clicked, it could easily direct the user to learn more about the product on Google page, or on Naij news page if the product article has earlier been published on Naij website.

4. Special Placement – Lead Generation: This special placement is very useful for generating leads for clients. It allows users to input basic info via the input form in the banner, and complete registration on client landing page. 6. Hack Banner: The hack banner is a very innovative and interactive banner. It is designed to entice the curiosity of the user using the word ‘Hack’. The hack banner could be represented with the client’s brand or logo with a customized button attached. The user is invited by this banner to hack Naij.com website. Once he clicks on the banner, a tiny monster comes out and destroys the contents of Naij.com, then displays the client’s offer or brand. In other words, the client’s brand remains behind Naij contents until the user clicks on the hack button. This type of advertising is another way to capture users’ attention even when they are not interested. The Hack message is promoted across all Naij platforms to gain maximum attention.

7. Mobile Full Screen: 60% of Naij.com users visit the page via mobile devices. Naij.com also offer mobile full screen banner as part of the advertising packages. Once a user visits Naij website using his mobile device, the client’s advert runs for 10 or 15 seconds (with CLOSE option) before the actual mobile version of the website shows.

8. Postcard Banner: The post card banner covers events, occasions, holidays, festive seasons, and so on. This is a banner that is customized with the client’s logo or brand that allows Naij users to select different good-wish postcard images and input the phone number or email of their friends, colleagues, lovers or families to send them greetings from our client’s postcard.
