Eagles think they’re supermen – Masiga

Super Eagles players
Kenya football legend and former AFC Leopards hitman Dr. JJ Masiga has described playing away to Nigeria as intimidating.
Dr. Masiga is the only player to have managed to score while playing the Super Eagles away, which dates back 28 years ago when Stars lost 3-1 in that fixture.
“I would like to tell the team to not let the Nigerians crowd their defence. They should go and give their best against Nigeria.”
“They think they are supermen of Africa, the boys should stand up when they face them because the crowd out there is always intimidating.”
He also advised Dennis Oliech who will wear the armband on Saturday.
“He is the captain. That’s his job and was given the task to lead the team from the front.”
The team that will travel to Calabar on Wednesday consists of a strike force made up of: Dennis Oliech (AJ Ajaccio), Jacob Keli (KCB), David Gateri (ASD Cape Town) and Edwin Lavasta (Gor Mahia).
With Kenya at the bottom of the log with a single point following their draw against Malawi, any of the four strikers who will feature in the match will be tasked to secure maximum points through goals that will shape up the remainder of the matches
