A Missouri man has been arrested for trying to hire someone to attack and sexually assault his 11-year-old daughter.
32-year-old Anthony Brinkman was busted by the police at a cracker barrel restaurant in St. Louis.
According to report, the accused had posted an ad online, looking for someone to beat and rape his daughter while he watched.
Authorities in St. Louis, Mo. were alerted to the Craigslist ad when a user reported it as abuse. From there, they reached out to 32-year-old Anthony Brinkman pretending to be someone interested in performing sexual acts on the girl.
The agreement was that Brinkman would bring his daughter to a Cracker Barrel restaurant to meet the woman, and if the two hit it off, he would take her back to his home so they could abuse the girl.
But he was nabbed at the scene about 48 hours after he posted the Craigslist ad online.
“It’s the most disgusting thing you can think of that somebody would take a child, an innocent, innocent child and do something like that, it’s inconceivable. It’s just sickening,” restaurant customer Barkley Rogers said.
Brinkman is facing charges of attempted statutory sodomy.
He’s jailed on a $100,000 bond.
Prosecutors said additional charges could be forthcoming.
