Umeh also advised the INEC to be thorough in its recruitment of ad-hoc staff for the conduct of elections, citing example of the sabotage of the conduct of the ad-hoc staff in Idemili-North Local Council Area which resulted in the conduct of supplementary poll in this council area of Anambra state.

"Governor Peter Obi will be national leader of APGA in January 2014. "2015 is still ahead of us and when the time comes, our party of course will do the needful. As we did in 2011, we did not say we were not going to run for Presidency, when we did not have anybody, we endorsed President Jonathan.
"We are not hiding our support for his administration and his transformation agenda. So when we come to 2015, the party will meet as we met in 2011 to take a decision on the presidential election without any apology to anybody".
