How Armed Robber Died After Stealing N1,700

 

A suspected armed robber in Oyo met up with Karma after he robbed a woman and her daughter at their residence at Ayetoro Oroki area of Oyo town, Oyo State.
The unidentified robber reportedly invaded the woman's residence at about 2a.m. on Thursday, February 6 armed with an axe and a knife.
He was said to have stabbed the woman's daughter on the head after which he collected their phones and the sum of N1,700. Unfortunately for him, as he was fleeing the scene, he slipped and fell, sustaining serious head injury which subsequently led to his death.
He was found in the bush where he managed to escape to by a team of policemen from Atiba Division lying weakly on the ground covered in blood.
He was however rushed to the General Hospital, Oyo, where he later died.
The woman's daughter was also rushed to the hospital for treatment and all the items he stole were recovered.
