Opposition politician Buba Galadima has lost his wife Hajiya Sharifat Buba Galadima and his brother Kawai Dawai.
The deaths occurred yesterday according Galadima’s brother Kabonchi Kakawo Yusuf.
Yusuf described the death of Hajiya Sherifat and Kawai as a great loss to the family.
He said Hajiya Sharifat was a dedicated housewife supporting her husband in his struggles.
When contacted, the politician's son, Sadiq Buba Galadima, answered the call and confirmed the incident.
According to him, his uncle died in Gashua while Hajiya Sharifat died in Lagos. The deceased have since been buried according to Islamic rites yesterday.
