The King Is Back: Over 13,000 Fans Watch Messi's Hat-Trick in Practice Match (PHOTOS & VIDEO)

Barcelona FC management and fans were delighted with the arrival of Leo Messi, who has spent a month in Argentina recovering from an injury.
Messi showed great shape immediately, scoring a hat-trick in a 4-4 draw in front of over 13,000 supporters at the club’s mini-stadium alongside the Camp Nou.
After two months away from the game and a month in Argentina the four-times Balon D’Or winner is ready to help keep Barça top of La Liga and knock Manchester City out of the Champions League and he showed he has not lost his eye for goal in an open training session on January 3, 2014, Friday.
Leo will not participate in Sunday’s meeting with Elche at the Camp Nou, but his comeback in the official matches is scheduled for January 8, 2014, Wednesday, in the Spanish Cup first leg quarter final against Getafe.
The Argentine landed in Barcelona on the evening of January 2, 2014, Thursday. He was driven straight to the club’s nearby Sant Joan Despí training complex. Leo was quickly out of his civvies and into training kit, to just make the 7 p.m. local time session.
He then appeared again for the full session on Friday morning.
