Napoli boss Rafael Benitez has insisted that his side are yet to display their best form following their 2-1 Serie A victory over AC Milan on Sunday.
The Spanish coach was delighted with his side's win over AC Milan but has stressed that they still have plenty of room for improvement
Goals from Miguel Angel Britos and Gonzalo Higuain helped the Partenopei to a narrow win at San Siro, putting them second in the league to Roma on goal difference, yet Benitez believes his team still have plenty of room for improvement.
"We worked together as a team tonight and that was very important, as if you have that then the quality players get the chance to shine," he told Sky Sport Italia.
"I like the way my team are playing. I'd say we are now at 73 per cent, but we can still improve these little things and when we do that it'll be easier to win."
Benitez then went on to admit that Milan made life difficult for Napoli, and was thrilled to see his side battle for the points until the final whistle.
"Milan played well, so it wasn't easy for us to counter Mario Balotelli's positioning between the lines," he explained.
"We needed to make adjustments and are at the start of this journey, so we need to improve many things, but a coach has to be happy when winning away to Milan.
"The important thing was to show character right to the end. It wasn't our best performance of the season, but to come here and win for a fifth consecutive victory [in all competitions] is impressive."
