U-17 World Cup: Nigeria 5 - 0 Iraq

 

Nigeria Golden Eaglets emerged victorious on Friday as they thrashed their Iraqi counterparts with 5 goals to nil in the final group F match played at the Rasheed Dubai Stadium, Dubai.

This sees them being qualified for the next round of the ongoing FIFA U-17 World Cup in United Arab Emirates.
The first half ended with 4 goals already in the Eaglets' pockets and giving them firm control earlier on in the game. In the dying minutes of the end of the match, the eaglets sealed their win to seal top spot in group F.
In the other group F match played on Friday, Mexico defeated hard fighting Sweden 1-0 to book the last 16 ticket alongside Nigeria. The Swedes also qualified as one of the best third place finishers.
Nigeria leads the group with seven points, followed by Mexico with six. Sweden and Mexico have four and zero points respectively.
