Forster's form in Europe's premier club competition brought the 25-year-old to the attention of England boss Roy Hodgson, who has included the keeper in some of his squads.
And the Celtic favourite is confident a return to the Champions League with Neil Lennon's team will help secure a place in the England squad for next summer's World Cup Brazil.
Following Celtic's 3-0 Scottish Cup final success at the weekend, which secured a domestic double for the Hoops, Forster was asked about his plans for the summer.
Speculation has suggested Forster may leave Celtic during the transfer window but he has given no thought to a move and insists he is focused on fulfilling his ambitions with the club.
"Just coming back here to be honest," he said. "I've got a while left on my contract.
"It's just important I come back fit and ready for the Champions League.
"The Champions League is important for us generally and it's important for me to be trying to force my way into the squad for the World Cup.
"It's just important I do whatever I can next season to get on that plane."
