A member of the Coordinating Team of the Nigeria Centenary Celebration has advocated for the inclusion of women in the developmental process of Nigeria, Africa and the world at large.
Makanjuoal who argued that women "bear the brunt" in any crisis called for the inclusion of women in any committee that will be set up to either dialogue with the Boko Haram or ensure that the proposed amnesty programme is well organized.
"When the body is constituted, a woman should have a voice on that table because it is about our nation," she said.
She further said that women were traded before, during and even after the colonial era and at such have played little or no role in the building of the nation state called Nigeria.
