Police Parade Kidnappers Of NTA Broadcaster

The Ondo State Police Command had on Wednesday paraded some suspected kidnappers at the command headquarters in Akure, the Ondo state capital.
Police Commissioner, Patrick Dukumor, said the two suspected abductors of the reporter of Nigeria Television Authority,NTA, Akure, Mrs. Olubunmi Oke, were among those arrested.
Dukumor said one of Oke’s abductors, Michael Onaibre, was arrested with a Blackberry smart phone belonging to their victim, while a younger brother of the leader of the five-man gang, Shedrack Etuwe, was arrested in Benin.
Three other suspected kidnappers of the daughter of late Akure High Chief, Mrs. Taye David-West, were also arrested in Akure and Owo.
The suspects are Dare Olofinji, Dada Bamidele and Famibe Olayemi.
The gang had stormed the resident of Mrs. Taye David-West in Ayedun quarters area of Akure, and took her away at about 1.am.
Taye is one of the twin sisters of the late High Chief, Josiah Olusanya, the Asamo of Akure.
It would be recalled that Mrs. Oke was abducted along ObaIle-Akure road on her way home after she read the 7.pm news.
Siezed in her Toyota Corolla car in the presence of her baby and maid, the Journalist was released after spending over 48 hours in the hands of her abductors.
