Army Officer Declared Missing (PHOTO)

 


Army Officer Declared Missing A serving officer of the Nigerian Army, Sgt. Adeyemo Abimbola of the Department of Policy and Plans, Army Headquarters Abuja, has been declared missing on December 6, 2013, Friday.
This was contained in a statement issued in Abuja and signed by Brig.-Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru, the Director of Army Public Relations, Nigerian Army.
Sgt. Abimbola was reportedly dressed in black jeans trousers and a top when last seen.
The statement said she left her residence in Mogadishu Cantonment at about mid-day on November 30 to go to the Wuse Market Abuja, and had since not returned.
“All efforts by her husband and family members to locate her have not yielded results,” it said. “Abimbola is about 30 years old, 1.65 metres tall, light in complexion and with no facial marks.”
She is a native of Ikire in Irewolede Local Government Area of Osun, and speaks Yoruba and English languages fluently.
The army called on anyone with useful information on her whereabouts to contact the nearest Nigerian Army unit, police station or call 08033703837 and 08103880646.
