PHOTO: Ex-VP Atiku Abubakar Denies His Connection to 2015 Campaign Billboards

 

The ex- vice-president, Atiku Abubakar has denied any involvement in the erection of campaign posters in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory. The billboards purportedly signify his intention to run for the upcoming 2015 presidential elections.

The signs (pictured) have appeared in various strategic places for commuters to catch a glimpse of the Adamawa born politician which the inscription ‘The Alternative Candidate’.
However, Atiku Abubakar has insisted that he was not connected and also wondered why the people behind the billboards were not immediately arrested by security operatives.
Reportedly, the former VP stated: “It is baffling that people can erect billboards and posters in a city like Abuja in broad day light without being spotted and arrested by security agents”.
With the billboard subject coming out to disown them, we urge the owners to state their intentions. It’s all politics we presume.
