Tragedy was let loose on Monday afternoon in Ojoo area of Ibadan when an articulated vehicle crushed to death three persons including an undergraduate of the University of Ibadan, Oyo State.
It was gathered that a 17-year-old 200 level student of the institution, Odunayo Aasha, encountered death when she went to buy a roasted plantain called ‘boli’ in the local parlance.
Aasha, a student in the Department of Guidance and Counselling, was rammed to death by a trailer, which veered off the road after losing control.
The heavy vehicle was said to be running from police arrest before it killed Aasha, the ‘boli’ seller and one other person at the scene of the incident.
The incident left agony in the area while some friends of late Aasha were left to cry over her sudden demise. We reliably gathered that late Aasha is the only daughter of her parents.
